2021 Women’s Presence

I’m proud to have curated the exhibition Présence des femmes, presented at the CAVA Gallery in Edmonton. The show brought together seven contemporary women artists from Western and Northern Canada, highlighting the richness and diversity of their artistic practices.

This project was a collaboration with the CAVA Gallery, the Association of Francophone Visual Arts Groups (AGAVF), and was supported by the Alberta Women’s Coalition. I had the privilege of developing the exhibition with the thoughtful guidance of Montréal-based curator and artist Serge Murphy, who accompanied the project throughout its curatorial process and dialogue.

The participating artists: Anne Brochu Lambert, Patricia Lortie, Josée Thibeault, Michèle Mackasey, Laura St. Pierre, Virginie Hamel, and Marie-Hélène Comeau.
