I wrote the curatorial text for Honed to Irrelevant Shine, an exhibition by artist Morgan Melenka presented at APRIM from April 3 to May 10, 2025. With precision and wit, the exhibition explores the tension between industrial fabrication, interior architecture, and everyday gestures. Through a refined visual vocabulary, Melenka playfully subverts familiar forms to question our perceptions of taste, function, and ornamentation.
