Project Description

2022 L’imaginaire de Gisèle Villeneuve Imagined

In January 2022, author Gisèle Villeneuve invited seven Francophone visual artists from Calgary to create works of art inspired by her book Et tu seras happé par l’horizon. Together with Patricia Lortie, Sylvie Pinard, Nicole Geoffrion, Andrée-Anne Paradis, Paule Poulin, Zoong Nguyen and myself, she explored how visual art can offer a fresh perspective on literary works.

As the curator of the resulting exhibition, I had the pleasure of working closely with Gisèle to bring this multidisciplinary project to life. The exhibition was presented in September 2022 at the cSPACE King Edward arts centre, in partnership with the Alliance Française of Calgary.
